LAB VALUES AND DIAGNOSTIC TESTS

Dear nurses,
Updated 7/ 23

Hope your week is going well. I just wanted to let
you know that information on lab values and
diagnostic tests has just been posted. The CBC
(complete blood count) for example is one of many
lab values that is helpful as a diagnostic tool.

The WBC ( white blood count ) is part
of this test. If very high, this is an indicator
of some type of infection in the body.

            Dear nurses,

Hope your week is going well. Have you ever
stopped to think that when we use the bathroom,
that our kidneys are at work?
Urine is produced by the kidneys after filtering
waste products from the blood and sent to the
bladder via the ureters. The kidneys work whether
            we are awake or asleep.
